OVERVIEW
From November through January in New York, Felissimo will host a JAPAN BRAND Pop-Up Shop. This temporary boutique will feature an array of outstanding products from the celebrated JAPAN BRAND series, specially selected by Japan's Ministry of Export Trade and Industry for their artisan quality, practical beauty and regional spirit. Representing distinct regional industries, these products have also been featured at Tokyo Designers Week, Maison et Objet in Paris and most recently, at Milano Salone.
Held at the Felissimo Design House, the JAPAN BRAND Pop-Up Shop will make many of these exceptional products for purchase – from unique Japanese home accessories, cherished stationery, one-of-a-kind textiles, beautiful fashion pieces to exquisite lacquer ware in every shape and color. JAPAN BRAND Pop-Up Shop will be sure to wow and delight the most discerning of consumers.

DESIGN BRIEF
This competition calls for a design of a fresh and compelling graphic for a large-format sticker that will be placed onto JAPAN BRAND Pop-Up Shop retail bags.
Your design must include:
- The JAPAN BRAND logo (at least one appearance). In using the logo, you must adhere to the specifications outlined below.
- A surrounding graphic measuring 6.5" x 6.5" (or 16.51cm x 16.51cm)
The winner will need to provide print-ready files and maybe required to adjust the design for production purposes.
Logo Download and Usage Specifications:
- The JAPAN BRAND logo is based on the traditional ratio of 1:2.
- The logo can only be one of two specified colors: red (Pantone 186) or gray (Pantone Cool Gray 2).
- The logo must be used in its entirety and not be truncated.
- The logo must not be smaller than 10mm x 5mm.
- You must incorporate an isolation area around the logo measuring 0.1 x the width of the logo. For example, if the logo is 20cm wide, the isolation area around the logo must be 2cm wide. ( 20 x 0.1 = 2cm)

PRIZE

JURY
The winners will be selected by Felissimo. In addition, there will be a public voting period (see dates below) to determine the most popular entry which will automatically go into the final round of judging.
JUDGING CRITERIA
- How innovative and eye-catching is the design?
- How strong is the entry aesthetically?
- How well was the design executed?
- How well has the JAPAN BRAND logo been incorporated and the logo specifications followed?
- Entries that cast a negative light on an organization, corporation, government, country, community or person will be disqualified.
- The Felissimo logo must not be used.
