Frequently Asked Questions

How many times can I enter your competitions?

You can enter as many times as you like. The more different designs you enter, the greater the chance you will win.*

* If your designs are too similar it may negatively impact you in voting, as people may vote for the first variant they see & ignore the second.

How do I know the entry I uploaded is actually on the site?

Two things should happen when you upload your entry.

1. You should see a confirmation form with some basic information about you & your entry. Nobody will ever see this form but you. You can preview your entry from this form to ensure it looks its best & you can delete it if you change your mind. You should not share this link.

2. You should receive an email confirmation that your entry was received. Again, if you do not receive an email, chances are your entry wasn't received & it doesn't hurt to submit again. Our moderators will delete any duplicate entries they see before voting starts.

If you did not see a confirmation screen or get a confirmation email, you should try uploading again.

In the final moments before the end of a competition, we may get a lot of entries, which can cause errors. Please don't wait until the last minute to upload your entry! If you miss the deadline, we won't be able to add your entry.

I accidentally uploaded the same entry twice, what now?

We review all entries every Tuesday before voting begins (on Wednesday) for duplicates. If we find a duplicate entry, we'll assume your later entry is the one you intended to enter & delete all previous entries.

What are your design specs?

We don't have design specs because we don't want to limit your creative expression. In the event that you win, however, we will ask for either a vectorized version of your image with each color separated onto a different layer, or a print resolution (300 dpi) bitmap image, such a a JPG, PSD, TIFF or EPS.

How does voting influence my chances of winning?

We take the number of votes into account when choosing a winner - an entry with few votes probably means that the entry won't sell well, but we also don't automatically pick the item with the most votes. Voting is a factor, but it is one of several, and in the end, we must choose the item we believe will sell the best.

What techniques do you use to print winning designs?

We use a variety of techniques including screen printing and direct-to-garment. We try to be environmentally friendly wherever possible.

How long will it take to receive my order?

This varies based on a number of factors. If it will take more than 30 days for us to ship your order, we will contact you.

How do I recycle your mailing materials?

We use United States Postal Service (USPS) mailers, which have been Cradle-to-Cradle certified. We either use Tyvek bags or cardboard boxes.

To recycle the Tyvek bag, you can turn it inside out & mail it (and any other Tyvek materials you have to recycle) to:

Tyvek® Recycle
Attn. Shirley B. Wright
2400 Elliham Avenue #A
Richmond, VA 23237

To recycle our cardboard boxes or hang tags, just recycle as you would normally recycle cardboard.

For more information on recycling Tyvek, visit the Dupont website.
