Bee Here Now by Zak Jensen

Description

Be in the place you are in. Be in the time you are in. Be aware of the ecology you are a part of.

Honey seems like the quintessential local food for a few reasons. It is universally local—found around the world, but unique to location (raw honey's color and flavor are affected by the flowering plants in bees' foraging habitats). Bees' essential role in their ecosystems helps make many other local foods possible. And, for aspiring local-vores in places where the growing season is short and food storage is a priority, honey is ideal because it never goes bad. Also, it's delicious.

I enthusiastically support the Chez Panisse Foundation and am pleased with the opportunity to contribute any amount of help through graphic design.
