Winner of our "Design a Tee to be used in case of an emergency" competition, Gemma's design SOS was a hit at the Social Designer office.
The designer had this to say about her creation:
SOS is the most common signal when there is an emergency in order to ask for help. I thought the t-shirt should have this purpose because it can be useful no matter what kind of emergency is happening.
We know we'll be carrying this tee with us at all times in case of a flat tire, fashion emergency, or just in case we need to flag down a taxi in NYC.
Printed on an Ash Grey American Apparel tee and coming in a range of sizes, with this tee you'll be stylish and prepared for anything.
20% of the profits from sales of this tee will go to benefit Architecture for Humanity. Gemma tells us why she loves this cause:
As humans, we always need help from each other in many situations. And that is what I love most from Architecture for Humanity - that is about improving living conditions using an open architecture network that allows designers and architects from around the world to share and communicate their ideas to build a better and sustainable future for the people who need it most. Architectural revolution!
Tees are available for pre-order and should be in stock and ready to be shipped by the end of June.
