ABOUT MY DESIGN:
The first thing that popped to my head when designing for this competition were the words "modern-day hero" and the vision of a hero that didn't need to fight weird monsters. What would a new super hero do for us that would make him our idol? I decided that something as simple and basic as getting something home can be a problem these days and came up with Super Delivery Guy.

As a kid I used to love comic books and decided to create a figure that would represent my vision of this style, adding a little "retro" to a very modern super hero.

ABOUT WHY I SUPPORT 826 NATIONAL:
I believe education is the global answer to all major issues that affect the world today. Environmental problems, poverty, discrimination; all derive of the same deep root: the lack of good education. The work of organizations like 826 National benefit our society by assisting students with their writing skills, and by helping teachers develop their teaching strategy. I share 826's vision and also think that strong writing skills are fundamental to future success. This is why I support 826 National... a true modern-day hero!
