Apropos - Kihoku by AnGela Reinhard
for Kihoku Logo Competition

As Kihoku is known for the massive quantities of Saury or Pike and also one of the main products offered by Japan Brand, it was appropriate to add a simple twist to the typography so it appears as though the fish head is made up of the negative space of the "K" and the eye of the fish is part of the "I". It is simplistic and sophisticated in order to catch the eye of those in the market for gourmet fish products. It can easily be used with multitudes of colors and backgrounds (shown here in black with a white background).
