My intention about the shirt (-design) is to appeal to social consciousness and helpfulness in times of increasing poverty.
I intended to give a hint on the historical figure “Martin of Tours” (well known as St. Martin) who divided his cloak altruistically into two parts to save a beggar from freezing to death.
The cutting line can be seen as instruction to share your wealth if help is desperately necessary.
